Old East Village explosion
The Old East Village explosion made the news last week.
On August 14th, a house on Woodman Avenue was crashed into by an impaired driver. A gas line was hit and the explosion that followed destroyed houses and injured seven people (one firefighter is still in serious condition in hospital). 100 homes had to be evacuated, including the three demolished ones.
The accident caused up to $15 million in damages.
We want to support the Woodman families, as well as the emergency workers affected by Wednesday’s explosion.
Every small donation can make a difference to the community.
