Invest in the future of children with the power of education.
Access to education helps people build skills to innovate and leads to healthier lives. Yet, it is still a challenge for children in many countries.
Over 265 million are currently out of school.
Sometimes it's because of the lack of infrastructure in a community or gender inequality. It could also be because of poverty or gender inequality.
Good Neighbors has advocacy initiatives in small communities to prevent and stop child labour and marriage. We believe that no child should be deprived of an education, regardless of their economic or social situation.
Save a School
For the second year in a roll, we are running our Save a School campaign, to remodel schools that are struggling and give kids a good learning environment.
Our first project was for the Mirpur School in Bangladesh, which helped 200 children.
In 2020, we are raising funds for La Palangana Primary School in Guatemala. We want to build new classrooms, provide electricity and replace all 326 damaged desks.
Building new schools
Good Neighbors builds and operates education facilities, providing tuition, materials, books and teacher training.
We also ensure adults have opportunities to learn literacy and numeracy skills when they were not able to receive proper education.
