Support the Indeonesian Communities with Good Neighbors' Emergency Relief Program

On September 28th at 10 pm, Indonesia's island of Sulawesi was hit by a 7.5-magnitude earthquake followed by a massive tsunami. This was after a 7-magnitude earthquake in August, before the residents were fully recovered from the last damage. As of October 22, 2,077 people lost their lives, 4,438 people were injured and there are 205,870 refugees in 147 shelters (Source: Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management).

Good Neighbors Canada, along with other GN fundraising countries, is raising funds to provide an emergency relief to the Indonesian residents. We are communicating with Good Neighbors Indonesia staffs and volunteers who are visiting the communities to deliver necessary goods, such as blankets, tents, food and water, etc. Good Neighbors is planning to further support the residents, after discussing with the Indonesian government of what is most needed.

Please Support the Indonesian Communities!

As of October 22, Good Neighbors Indonesia has distributed 500 sanitary kits (soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers, sanitary napkins, blankets, towels, etc.) and 180 household tents. We are planning to further support with sanitary kits, tents, and any other necessary things that can relieve the situation in the Indonesia.

Even today, many residents who have lost their home in a night are still trembling with fear. Please support today so that these residents would recover from a disaster.
