Stuffed animals donated to children

Isn't it great when you make someone smile?

Since it's Giving Tuesday week, today we had the pleasure of volunteering at World Tailors. What a vibrant place their workshop is!

We've learned a lot and got to meet some new friends this time. We had received a donation of stuffed animals, so after lunch we surprised the women with gifts for their children and grandchildren.

World Tailors works with refugee and immigrant women, teaching them sewing skills and also English. They are a social enterprise and make aprons and market bags in London, ON.

Good Neighbors Canada is determined to drive change, so we are always looking for other organizations to collaborate with.

We can't wait to be back!
