Pumpkin Spice 5K raised $2,868.23 for clean water!
November 7, 2022
After our in-person run on October 8 at Greenway Park, our Pumpkin Spice 5K continued open as a virtual event. People all over Canada could participate, by running, walking, or even cycling.
Pictured above are some students at the Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute running club, in Winnipeg, who were virtual participants in our Pumpkin Spice 5K.
Their coach mentioned that two of the girls who ran are international students from Italy! "This has been quite a memorable cultural experience for them! We raced in a popular city park and went for pumpkin spice ice cream afterward". We love to hear that, especially being an international humanitarian nonprofit!
After wrapping up the results for our run in October, we have reached a total of $2,868.23 fundraiser for clean water! That brings us really close to the amount necessary to build one well in rural Zambia!
Through our Wishing Well project, we need $3,000 to build one well. Can you help us close that gap?
Help us reach our goal!
