Last week Good Neighbors Canada visited the London Children's Museum for a special occasion. Today we would like to share a message from Mira Noordermeer, Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the space.

The London Children’s Museum welcomes 80,000 visitors a year to three floors of interactive exhibits, educational programs and pure fun. We are so proud to help families have access to all the learning experiences they offer!

Thank you, Good Neighbors Canada!

Thanks to generous support from Good Neighbors Canada, the London Children’s Museum is providing learning opportunities to children facing financial barriers. A $12,000 gift from Good Neighbors Canada will provide 80 family memberships and 10 subsidized children’s day camp spots to families in need.

“We want to contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment and give children the opportunity to create memorable experiences. We believe this donation will go a long way to help more families access everything the Children’s Museum offers.” - Hyang Cho, Executive Director, Good Neighbors Canada.

Good Neighbors is an international non-profit specializing in global community development projects involving health, education, water and sanitation, and income generation. Their focus is on protecting children’s rights to make sure every child grows in a safe and healthy environment. Good Neighbors also operates emergency relief initiatives and a child sponsorship program. Currently, about 16.8 million people, including 9.6 million children are supported by their efforts.

Since their organization began in South Korea in 1991, Good Neighbors has maintained a deep interest and commitment to education. They encourage children to become global citizens through initiatives such as their Hope Letter Campaign, which inspires youth to engage with children abroad who face difficulties and poverty.

“At the London Children’s Museum, we believe all children, regardless of economic circumstance, should have access to hands-on learning experiences. This gift from Good Neighbors Canada will help ensure children in our community are able to access educational opportunities that benefit their healthy growth and development.” - Amanda Conlon, Executive Director, London Children’s Museum.

Thank you, Good Neighbors Canada, for your support!
